'Tekken 7' PS4 Xbox One Release Date & Characters: Everything We Know So Far

Fans of the fighting game "Tekken 7" may need to wait a little while for its release on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Developers of the game have admitted that they are still working on a few more details of the game.

VC Post reported that Katsuhiro Harada, Bandai Namco's director for Tekken 7 gave fans and gamers the chance to share their feedbacks and comments on the game so that the company could fix some of their concerns.

He also said that the game developer is still considering an online multiplayer feature for the game based on the demands for its arcade version in North America.

In March this year, Bandai Namco's "Tekken 7" debuted in Japan much to the excitement of its fans.

But Ecumenical News said that its release in consoles this year had to be carefully planned and thought of by the developers.

The game offers players one-on-one battles of 27 playable characters, including 8 new ones.

"This does give us on the other hand the chance to polish up the game while people are playing in Japan in the arcades. And to add content - unlock characters and such. Eventually when it does comes out in console there will be all kinds of cool things in the game that we can't go much into detail right now but obviously it would be much better than it is now," added Harada.

In a discussion with Shack News, Harada explained that they will maintain a "no charge" scheme for the new characters.

Some of the characters included in the game are Katarina, Lucky Chloe, Asuka, Kazumi, Lili, Xiaoyu, Alisa, and Josie who will imitate the outfits of idols Takane, Iori, Haruka, Chihaya, Miki, Yayoi, Yukiho, and Hibiki.

JobsNHire said that the upcoming console game will have an "idolmaster treatment.

"Idolmaster treatment is where titles such as 'Beautiful Katamari' and 'Ace Combat' are being given to the character. This is to celebrate the series turning 20 and idolmaster turning 10," the same report said.
