Renders have popped up online showing how Samsung's Galaxy Note 5 might look like when it gets released.

Design & Display

The latest concept came from Ivo Maric, who also designed the render for Apple's iPhone 7, TechnoBuffalo reported. The image features a device with a design made up of mostly glass, with aluminum and an S Pen located in the bottom. The render also show that the handset's battery will not be removable, though there's a possibility of expandable memory storage.

Check out Maric's render on the news outlet.

Maric's design bears close resemblance to Samsung's Galaxy S6, with some parts also paying tribute to the Galaxy S6 Edge, TechnoBuffalo noted. The Galaxy Note 5 doesn't have a curved screen, but its back appears to have slightly curved edges.

Slash Gear also took note that the Galaxy Note 5 render's S Pen is embedded under the display near a couple of speakers facing the bottom. This is the first time that the corporation utilized a set of speakers that do not face backward.

Samsung recently unveiled a minimalist invite for its Unpacked event scheduled on August 13 at 11 AM ET. According to Mashable, the invitation, which features a number of waves in a rectangular outline, could be hinting at the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. There are also speculations that the occasion will see the release of the Galaxy Note 5 and new Gear-branded smartwatches.

As per Slash Gear, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to come in with a 5.7-inch screen display with 1440 x 2560 pixel Super AMOLED.

Hardware & Other Features

The Galaxy Note 5 is said to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 or Samsung's Exynos 7422, Slash Gear wrote. The device is said to have 4GB of RAM, 3220mAh battery power, and a choice between 32, 64, or 128GB for internal memory storage.

As for its camera, the handset is said to come in at 16 megapixels similar to the Galaxy S6, with a 4K video capable of shooting video at 1080p 60fps, the news outlet noted. Its front-facing shooter will reportedly have 8 megapixels with a 120-degree wide-angle lens.

In addition, the device is expected to have wireless charging, Quick Charge, and a fingerprint sensor, which was improved in the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, TechnoBuffalo added.

Price

PC Advisor speculated that the Galaxy Note 5 will cost somewhere between $860 and $930.

It should be noted that these are all unconfirmed at the moment and Samsung is yet to issue an official word.
