The recent release of the Moto X Style and Moto X Play has raised relevant questions on their comparison to the powerful LG G4.

These devices have taken great public attention because of their specifications, but the public is still torn on which is better.

Here is a rundown of their features and where they stand based on their overall impact.

Moto X Style and Moto X Play

Independent explained that both Motorola devices look good on the outside with a "curved back with that tactile scooped circular Moto logo in the middle." They also have 21MP powerful cameras which are very fast and responsive.

"Both are big handsets: the Style has a 5.7-inch display which covers a big proportion of the phone's front," said Independent.

TechFirstPost said that Moto X Style has a 5.7-inch QuadHD display with a 515ppi pixel density. It comes with an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and storage variants of 16, 32, and 64GB.

Its other features include Moto Voice, Moto Assist, Moto Display and Moto Actions.

"The Moto X Style will support the Moto Maker program letting you customise the phone according to your preferences. You can choose between leather, and natural wood covers," added TechFirstPost.

On the other hand, the Moto X Play reportedly has a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC with 1.7GHz octa-core processor and 2GB of RAM.

TechFirstPost said that the device will also come with and 4G LTE support and a 5MP front-facing shooter.

The Moto X Play is expected to available this August while the Style will be out in September.

It has been reported that the Play will be pegged at £299 ($467) while the Style will be available for £359 ($560).

LG G4

The LG G4, on the other hand, is highly praised for its killer camera. According to DigitalCameraWorld, it has a 16MP sensor, manual control and the capacity "to shoot raw and an f/1.8 lens.

"[This] makes it ideal for low light photography. Good news both for selfies-in-the-pub takers and those who are a little more serious about their art," said the same report.

Released in April with the price tag of $649, the LG has a 5.5-inch screen with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. It also has a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 chipset, as per GSM Arena.

Other great features include fast battery charging, optional wireless charging, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, Photo/video editor and document editor.

For photographers, this is said to be a great camera that truly leads in terms of image quality.
