A Geekbench pass for an unknown device has prompted speculations that a new LG smartphone is in the works.

The device is dubbed LGE LG-F600L, a label which is consistent with the G4's F500L model number, Phone Arena reported. The benchmarking suite didn't reveal too many details about the alleged handset, which the news outlet speculates could be the LG G4 Pro. Some specs, such as the device's processor and memory capacity, were revealed.

Listed below are the alleged specs and features of the LG G4 Pro.

Specs

The rumored LG G4 Pro is said to be powered by the ARM Qualcomm processor at 1.44 GHz, Phone Arena wrote. The Android Lollipop 5.1.1 will serve as its operating system, with 4GB of RAM space also in store for the device.

On the other hand, the LG G4, which was released in April 2015, runs using Android 5.1 and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808, with a 3000mAh battery powering the smartphone, GSM Arena wrote.

Other specs of the LG G4 include: 3GB RAM, 16 MP primary camera with LED flash, 8 MP secondary shooter, and 32GB internal memory storage. The device comes in at 5.5 inches with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, as well as an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, GSM Arena listed.

Release Date & Price

In a Korea Herald interview, LG CEO of mobile business Cho Jun-ho said that the company is planning to release a new mobile device in the second half of 2015, a separate report from Phone Arena noted. Expectations say that this planned smartphone is under the corporation's flagship G-series.

The handset (purportedly the LG G4 Pro) will possibly be priced above $819, and will compete against Samsung Note devices, which is usually released at the same timetable as LG's upcoming smartphone, the news outlet added. LG's display and stylus technology could rival against Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge, although the latter is at an advantage given that it has already developed high-resolution Super AMOLED panels and stylus functionality.

"Riding high on the LG G2 & LG G3's considerable success, the ambitious LG aims for a 20% sales increase throughout 2015, hoping to land the spot of the third largest global smartphone maker," Phone Arena further reported.

Aside from the LG G4 Pro, the company is said to "distil its affordable L and F smartphones to four essential brands -- Magna, Spirit, Leon, and Joy," the news outlet added. LG is set to expand their wearable devices lineup as well.
