Several leaks and speculations have surrounded the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo for quite some time now, but a release date for the device is still out of hand. However, new reports are suggesting that the handset is now available for pre-orders in Czech Republic.

As per GSM Arena, the Galaxy S5 Neo is said to have a $490 price tag, and is available in black and white models. One retailer in the region has issued a shipping date of July 3 for the device.

Listed below are the reported specs and features of the Galaxy S5 Neo.

Design & Display

SamMobile reported that the handset will bear a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels just like the original Galaxy S5, which also has the same dimensions and weight (142 × 72.5 × 8.1 mm and 145 grams) as the Galaxy S5 Neo.

Camera

International Business Times translated from Winfuture that the smartphone will be equipped with a 16-megapixel primary camera and a 5 MP front-facing shooter.

Processor, RAM, OS, & Memory

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy S5 Neo will be powered by the brand-new 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7580 processor, which is less powerful than the original Galaxy S5's Snapdragon 801 and Samsung's own Exynos 5422.

The Galaxy S5 Neo's processor was previously spotted inside an unannounced phablet from TCL, a Chinese brand that manufactures smartphones and consumer electronics. The processor is composed of a 64-bit octa-core CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, and a Mali-T720 GPU, SamMobile noted.

The handset is also said to have 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, the news outlet added. For its operating system, the Galaxy S5 Neo is expected to ship with the Android 5.1 Lollipop, with hopes of Samsung's latest version of TouchWiz incorporated in the OS to boost the processor's power.

Other Features

SamMobile noted that the device will come in with a single-SIM variant and a dual-SIM model. The dual-SIM version will have the model number SM-G903FD placed on it, and is expected to roll out in markets such as India, China, and Russia, where there's a pressing demand for this feature.

The Galaxy S5 Neo will also have LTE-A connectivity, which is an upgrade over the original Galaxy S device but parallel to the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, the news outlet wrote.

Aside from the Galaxy S5 Neo, there are also rumors that Samsung is gearing up the release of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S6 Plus.
