Mariah Visits Israel With Rumored Billionaire Lover

It looks like Mariah Carey has really moved on from her failed marriage with Nick Canon. E! reported that the multi-platinum songstress recently visited Israel with her alleged new billionaire lover and Australia's richest man James Packer.

According to E!'s insider source, the singer and her rumored beau are very happy together. The source said that it was Packer's idea to bring Carey to Israel for the first time. Despite not being Jewish, Packer insisted that they visit a "spiritual leader" in Israel before allegedly deciding to tie the knot.

The romance reportedly started when Packer flew to Las Vegas to watch Carey's show, determined to get the attention of the music superstar. He eventually succeeded when they met on a vacation and partied with common friends.

They two were spotted touring Europe before heading to Israel for their spiritual retreat.

Meeting the PM

The couple met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a private dinner - an event usually graced by the world's top diplomats and state leaders, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) reported. Carey's twins were absent during the meeting due to it being very late.

Nonetheless, Carey did not hesitate to show the Netanyahu family some pictures of her two kids with estranged husband Nick Canon. In return, the Netanyahus took out photographs of their two boys from the prime minister's first years of service.

Carey felt a deep connection with Israel, JTA noted. She even shared photos of her visit in Israel's Western Wall with the prime minister's wife, Mrs. Sarah Netanyahu. The Western Wall is Judaism's holiest site.

Towards the end of the trip, Carey graced the streets of Tel Aviv, Israel where her fans waited for her appearance. They were not disappointed to see the sultry icon dressed in a sexy blue printed dress with a very deep neckline. Fans swarmed the singer as she gave out autographs.

Carey-Canon Divorce Proceedings Still In Full Swing

Meanwhile, despite the seemingly quick succession of Packer and Carey's relationship, the divorce suit between Carey and her ex-husband, Nick Canon, is still ongoing. The ex-couple already sold some of their mutual properties including a $9 million Bel-Air mansion.

Canon signed a book deal with Simon & Schuster for a tell-all of their six-year failed marriage, reportedly due to Carey's denial of his $30 million divorce settlement demand. Carey said to have offered $10 million as what she said was stipulated in their prenuptial agreement, but Canon refused.
