If you were as surprised as the rest of the world about the events of the latest episode --- Barry enlisting Captain Cold for help, Eddie telling Iris she's going to marry Barry, Oliver Queen's appearance as Al Sa-Him / The Arrow --- well, more surprises are going your way for next week's finale, titled "Fast Enough".

Entertainment Weekly interviewed Tom Cavanaugh (Dr. Harrison Wells / Eobard Thorne) and unfortunately for fans, even though it looked like The Flash, Arrow, and Firestorm managed to overpower the Reverse Flash, he's not going to stay defeated for long. The news outlet noted that there will still be a bug showdown between The Flash and the Reverse Flash next week, and Cavanaugh has some teasers for that.

He said, "I can say that I'm glad with Stephen and Robbie Amell and Grant Gustin versus me that it's not a handsome-off, because that would be a very quick defeat on my part.

"That's a very good-looking trio there. As it is, I can say we've invested 20 hours+ in the bank and now we're taking it out. We understand that there is going to be a lot of expectation and anticipation. We spent a lot of time doing this face-off. We understand that when you have gunslingers facing off against each other, you don't do that at the beginning of the show, you do that at the end of the show. We put a lot of work, choreography and man hours into the fight. It ended up being really enjoyable. Not to put words in the viewers' mouths, but I hope they're as pleased as we are."

Den of Geek also reported that Firestorm will have a role in the finale, and with a tweet from Ciara Renee, it was also noted that other cast members of "Legends of Tomorrow" will be making appearances at the finale, with Renee's own character, Hawkgirl being one of them.

The official synopsis for next week's episode read, "EPIC SEASON FINALE; VICTOR GARBER AND ROBBIE AMELL GUEST STAR - Wells (Tom Cavanagh) presents Barry (Grant Gustin) with a life-changing choice. Dr. Martin Stein (guest star Victor Garber) and Ronnie Raymond (guest star Robbie Amell) return to help the S.T.A.R. Labs team with this final fight. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Gabrielle Stanton & Andrew Kreisberg (#123)."

The final episode for this season of "The Flash" will air on May 19 at 8PM.
