'Fantastic Four' New Trailer Out! 3 Reasons Why Film Could Disappoint [Release Date, Cast & Spoilers]

The latest trailer for "Fantastic Four" reboot is out, and Doctor Doom is coming.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the trailer gave audience a glimpse of the Toby Kebbell as the main villain.

However, with "Fantastic Four" arriving for a reboot at a time when every other superhero is getting their share of the big screen, there may be some ways that this one could disappoint. Check them out:

1) It could be too ordinary. There are too many established films getting reboots and sequels this year and next, and "Fantastic Four" is not on the same page as "Star Wars" or "Batman v Superman." In terms of superheroes, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron" have fans buzzing with excitement, while films like "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", "Terminator: Genisys", and "Jurassic Park" are all scheduled for reboots. In the end, as Wired pointed out, "Fantastic Four" may be among the films with drama and explosions, but with more established titles competing for the top at the box office, there's really nothing "super" going on for these superheroes.

2) Director Josh Trank himself told MTV, "It's not your typical superhero film, you know, we aren't looking at this as, like, being superheroes. We're more or less a bunch of kids that had an accident and we have disabilities now that we have to cope with, and try to find a life afterwards - try to be as normal as we can." If superheroes are too human, will they have as much appeal as say, Iron Man or Batman?

3) Doctor Doom is not the same Victor Von Doom known by fans from the comics, but a different character who was described as an anti-social programmer known as "Doom". An unofficial rundown noted by Movie Web said that "Victor Doomashev is a anti-social Eastern European computer programmer and hacktivist who calls himself 'Doom'. He hates the 1%, particularly Storm, whom he claims corrupts science for profit."

Starring Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, Kate Mara as the Invisible Woman, and Jamie Bell as The Thing, the superhero flick will arrive in theaters on August 7.

What do you think about this superhero reboot? Is it a good idea to release this film in the middle of a busy year for superhero stories both on the big and small screens?
