Fans of the iconic sci-fi series are waiting for "The Force Awakens" to finally hit the big screen in December, however, just because we have about nine months left before we can see the new installment in all its glory, we are currently subsisting on teasers and spoilers to get us through.

And it seems, according to Movie Pilot, that there are a lot of them we can look out for, check these out:

1) Luke Skywalker is evil. Cinema Blend said that Making Star Wars revealed several images of a presumed villain, and the pieces of the picture showed a human male with a mask hiding part of his face, with one red eye and a cloak that hasn't been seen since "Return of the Jedi" - the cloak being particularly special because it belongs to Luke Skywalker.

2) X-Wing Pilots did a 180 and are now fighting for the Alliance. Cinema Blend noted that the Empire may have confiscated the defunct X-Wing ships, which may be the reason why Adam Driver, if set to be a villain, is seen flying one of the X-Wing ships. However, there were also reports that Driver could be part of the former Rebellion, and may be using Luke Skywalker's old ship to find him.

3) Princess Leia is now the leader of the New Republic and has been for 30 years. She is also married to Han Solo and they are constructing a weapon together on a cold planet.

4) In-depth plot and characters have been leaked and "The Force Awakens" is set 30-40 years after the Battle of Endor and is said to be darker than "The Empire Strikes Back" with the quality of storytelling from "A New Hope."

5) Kira, as it turns out, is the daughter of Han and Leia, and she has wanted Luke Skywalker to train her. However, due to Skywalker becoming a recluse, he wasn't able to give her the training she was looking forward to, making her resent him for fleeing.

There are also rumors noted by Movie Pilot of JJ Abrams wanting to move the release date for "The Force Awakens" to the summer as he's tired of the leaks that seemed to keep on coming, and the report says, "Disney, being the owners of the new Star Wars franchise, have taken JJ's thoughts into consideration and deep thought which could get the film released a lot earlier than we thought we were going to see it! " On the other hand, a new trailer is set to be released on May 1st, so until then, that's all that we can look forward to as we approach the summer months.

What do you think of the storylines for "The Force Awakens" that have been revealed so far?
