The world's most-utilized Windows Phone device has also claimed the top spot in the United Kingdom, based on new data for the month of November.

According to AdDuplex, the Nokia Lumia 520 is the top overall Windows Phone device in the U.K. with 28.2 percent of the market share.

AdDuplex noted the Lumia 520 experienced a growth of 8 percentage points within the last two months. The Lumia 520 held a double-digit lead compared to its nearest challenger, the Lumia 800.

The Lumia 800 represented 11.6 percent of the Windows Phone device market share in the U.K., which was enough for second place.

The first non-Nokia Lumia device to rank AdDuplex's top 10 Windows Phone devices in the U.K. is the HTC 8S. The HTC device ranked third with 9 percent of the market share.

The Windows Phone devices went back to the Nokia Lumia smartphones with the Lumia 820 representing fourth place, or 7.6 percent of the market share. The Lumia 920 rounded the top five with 7.1 percent.

The other non-Nokia Lumia device to rank AdDuplex's figures is the HTC 8S, with 3.7 percent or eighth place.

The only new Windows Phone device to crack the U.K. data is the Lumia 625, which entered at No. 10 with 2.8 percent.

AdDuplex collected its latest Windows Phone data on Nov. 22 with more than 2,087 Windows Phone apps running on AdDuplex's SDK version 2.
