Ana Brenda Contreras is set to provide her vocals for the theme song of her upcoming Televisa drama "Lo Imperdonable."

Latin Times reported the news, saying that Contreras, who originally got her start in the music scene, will be singing the theme song that will play in the end credits of "Lo Imperdonable."

The 28-year-old Mexican actress rose to fame after she was chosen as one of the finalists of the Mexican version of talent show "Popstars," Latin Times wrote. Through the program, Contreras became a part of the group T' de Tila. Since then, she went on to star in various telenovelas such as "Juro Que Te Amo," "Sortilegio," "La Que No Podía Amar," and in "Corazón Indomable," which was a remake of "Mari Mar."

There were previous reports about Contreras singing the theme song of "Corazón Indomable" as well, but the news outlet noted that the plan didn't push through.

Last month, the actress started shooting "Lo Imperdonable" in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, according to Latin Post. The actress recently shared a photo of herself on Instagram promoting her new telenovela.

Contreras also shared her fitness regimen in preparation for "Lo Imperdonable," the news outlet noted. She revealed that she has been doing various workouts to make sure that she's in great shape.

"I'm super in love with boxing. It gets rid of all your stress," Contreras admits, as quoted by Latin Post. "I'm eating well. And because of the novela, I am taking fencing classes and horse riding."

The telenovela star reportedly suffered a minor injury in her arm while preparing for her role. In an interview with Hoy, which was translated by Latin Post, Contreras revealed that she fell while riding a horse. According to the news outlet, the actress' hand was not broken, but her doctor advised her to take some much needed rest.

"Lo Imperdonable," which is a remake of Kate Del Castillo's "La Mentira," will also star Iván Sánchez of "La Reina Del Sur", Grettel Váldez of "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó," "Una Familia Con Suerte" star Alicia Machado, and Sebastián Zurita of "La Impostora," Latin Times detailed.

Osvaldo De León will also star in the Salvador Mejia telenovela as an antagonist, according to a translated report from Novela Lounge

"Lo Imperdonable" tells the story of two sisters, Veronica and Valeria (Valdéz), one is good and responsible, while the other one is cunning. The villainous sibling will do anything to make her sister's life miserable, and that includes keeping her away from the man she loves, a translated report from TV y Espectáculos stated.
