'GTA 5 Online Heists' Release Date, Rumors & News: Valentine DLC Coming?

By Staff| Feb 14, 2015

Love is in the air. As it turns out, "Grand Theft Auto" players are in for a lovely Valentine treat from Rockstar, if recent leaks are to be believed.

Apparently, a number of ModzNation forum members have stumbled upon references to a Valentine DLC, set to arrive in "GTA" Online, International Business Times (IBT) reported. The content is expected to launch before Feb. 14. Now that's a really timely treat.

The members were said to be analyzing test files uploaded to Rockstar Games Services when they found the mysterious, Valentine-themed content. As this has not been confirmed by Rockstar, you may want to see their findings here.

From what we've previously noted, the much-awaited Heists DLC is rumored to come out on Feb. 24. This information has coincided with Rockstar's earlier announcement, which called for the Heists' arrival before "Grand Theft Auto V" comes to the PC.

Prospective PC players are expecting the game on Mar. 24. Rockstar has then apologized, "Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans."

Heists are group-executed missions that require careful coordination among co-op players. Rockstar described them, "These will require tight communication and coordination."

In addition, every group member will take on a specified role crucial to the execution of a certain Heist. The cardinal rule to success? Teamwork.

Meanwhile, IBT also took note of TwoDynamic's "Heists Planning Board." This is suggestive of a crew's planning stage within a Heist. According to the report, the plan has instructed to "Collect Rashkovsky."

As told by Realty Today, this so-called "Prison Break Heist" has a whopping payout of $550,000, granted as the team successfully completes the mission.

No further information about Rashkovsky's character / participation has been cited at present.

In December, YouTuber DomisLive has also cited leaked Cops n Crooks (CnC) missions, which involved the "Prison Van Rescue," "Weapons Deal," "Hostage Deal" and an untitled mission where gang members needed to steal an artifact from a military base.

The Heists DLC is expected to bring new gameplay features, vehicles, weapons and clothing, among others. Rockstar has already confirmed that it will come as a free update to all covered consoles, including the PC.

"GTA V" is currently available for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Visit the game's official site here.
