'Parenthood' Season 5 Episode 10 Spoilers: Amber and Ryan's Wedding is in Jeopardy in 'All That's Left is the Hugging' [Video]

NBC will debut a new episode of their hit family drama series "Parenthood" on Thursday, December 12, and from the looks of the promo, the episode promises to be interesting and exciting.

In the upcoming, which is titled "All That's Left Is the Hugging," Kristina regroups, Carl charms Sarah, Julia's shares a kiss with another man that impacts her marriage with Joel, and Amber and Ryan cope with the aftermath of his arrest. Plus, Drew turns to Crosby for advice on girls while Adams supports Kristina and Amber confronts Ryan about an issue, according to TV.com.

TVLine exclusively reports that Jason Ritter will make a comeback on the show playing his role as Mark Cyr, estranged boyfriend of Graham's Sarah, later on in the fifth season. Ritter will reappear in Episode 19 on April 24 when Mark has a chance encounter with one of the show's characters. For now, Ritter is on board for just one episode.

"Parenthood," an American comedy-drama TV series developed by Jason Katims, premiered on March 2, 2010. It is loosely based on the 1989 film of the same title. It is also the second adaptation of the film to air on television preceded by the 1990-91 television series which also aired on NBC.

After Jason Katims came up with the idea, he approached Ron Howard and Brian Grazer about creating an updated, modern adaptation of the 1989 film and bringing it to television. Production began in 2009 with Katims working as the lead writer, showrunner, and executive producer.

"Parenthood" airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC. Watch a preview below:
