By Staff| Feb 03, 2015

Detective Nick Mendoza is coming.

Prospects on the lookout for "Battlefield: Hardline" are bound to get the game's beta version this week, Gotta Be Mobile reported. Since the upcoming version is an "open" beta, purchases will not be necessary -- anyone can download the game and get a taste of EA's upcoming offer. It will be available for the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

For the same platforms listed above, the full game is slated to launch on Mar. 17, 2015. That's a little more than a month of wait, but we can sure endure.

In the meantime, publisher Electronic Arts has revealed PC system requirements, Game Rant noted. As told by the outlet, the 60 GB requirement for a hard drive space is the only demanding specification among the list, while the other specs are doable. Check them out below:

Minimum Specs

- CPU: Intel Core i3 / i5 2.4 GHz / AMD Athlon II / Phenom II 2.8 GHz

- DirectX 11

- Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 (896 MB) / ATI Radeon HD 5770 (1 GB)

- Hard Drive Space: 60 GB

According to the PC Gamer, EA has reminded those with 4GB of RAM or less that issues may be encountered while running the game's beta. To keep things smooth, players are encouraged to "close all other applications while playing the game."

Interestingly, EA has run a program that collects feedback from players, GameSpot noted. Known to be the "Game Changers," the team is composed of YouTubers, "Battlefield" community members, fans of competing first-person shooters (i.e. "Call of Duty") and general fans of first-person shooters.

The outlet took note of Scott Probst, "Battlefield Hardline" senior producer's remarks. Referring to the "Game Changers," Probst expressed, "They've been key to our success. They gave us very, very clear feedback on what they really like, what they really didn't like, what they'd like to see changed."

"At the end of the day, it's an accurate representation of our fan-base," the producer said.

"Battlefield: Hardline" features a complete FPS experience, allowing players to lead their own crew, seize and detain, make use of new maps and gadgets, execute new strategies and enjoy a high-speed gameplay.
