PS4 Games January 2015 Release Dates: 5 Highly-Anticipated Titles

In January 2015, a number of exciting titles for Sony's next-gen console will be available, from role-playing to action to board games. While PS5 speculations have already sprung, players could still be enjoying the best out of their PS4s.

'Citizens of Earth'

Developed by Eden Industries and published by Atlus, "Citizens of Earth" is a role-playing game (RPG) that pushes players to the limits of international politics -- by becoming the World's Vice President. According to IGN, the bureaucratic character comes home following his election, only to find out that strange things have happened in town.

Armed with the political assignment and a sense of responsibility, the Vice President recruits townspeople and makes them fight his battles for him. After all, he's your classic bureaucrat: socially appealing yet practically useless.

Priced for $14.99, the title arrives at the PS4, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U and PC on Jan. 20. 2015, wrote Joystiq.

'Grim Fandango' Remastered

The upcoming Jan. 27 title is a remastered version of the 1998 classic "Grim Fandango," released by LucasArts for the PC. This time, iDigitalTimes reported that the new game has been created by Double Fine, set to arrive at the PS4 and PS Vita. The Verge added that it will also launch on the PC, Mac and Linux.

Players can look forward to graphic and visual changes, widescreen options, analog control scheme and remade midi soundtrack, as told by Polygon.

'Raven's Cry'

This title has been set for release on Jan. 28, 2015, wrote IGN. Developed by Reality Pump and Octane Games, the dark, action-adventure game kicks off with Christopher Raven's journey that's aimed to track and slay his family's murderers.

Set in the 17th Century Caribbean, the game challenges the image of pirates, with adventures traversing across Port Royal, Havana and a lost Aztec City. The game is published by TopWare Interactive, wrote the above outlet.

'Trivial Pursuit Live!'

This board game is part of Ubisoft's Hasbro Game Channel, which includes "Monopoly" and "Risk," Xbox Achievements noted. The title makes its players stars of the night, showcasing wit in the knowledge of trivias presented in reinvented question types. The game boasts of a new TV show environment, on top of different rounds with varying rules.

The game takes on an unspecified January 2015 release, as written by IGN.

'Apotheon'

Drawing inspiration from Greek-mythology, "Apotheon" sets its players to climb the top of Mount Olympus or dive into the Land of the Dead, all for the attempt of defeating resident gods. As told by Siliconera, the player is humanity's last champion.

The official PlayStation blog has not announced a specific release date yet, but the outlet assured prospects may nevertheless expect the title's arrival in January.
