WWE News & Rumors: Wrestle Mania 31 Sting vs Triple H Match 'Epic'

In a Twitter question and answer segment on Thursday to promote the NXT R Takeover event, Triple H answered questions surrounding his supposed match-up with Sting for WrestleMania 31.

Sports World News said that the wrestler mostly answered questions related to the NXT special which will be aired on the WWE network on Thursday night but was not able to avoid queries on his presumed match-up with Sting. "No matter what it would be epic," Triple H said of the possible fight.

Lately, there have been rumors spreading that the two fighters will go against each other inside the ring during WrestleMania 31 set to happen on March 29 at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. These rumors sparked when Sting joined Survivor Series last month.

It was noted by the Sports World News report that Sting came out during the battle between Team Cena and Team Authority and had a stare down with Triple H until the latter lunged at him and he answered back with a Scorpion Death Drop. Sting then placed Dolph Ziggler on top of Seth Rollins and ended the game favorable to Team Cena.

The whole act is believed by many as a prelude to a bigger fight between Triple H and Sting.

But wrestling commentator Jim Ross does not seem to agree with Triple H and noted that the match will not be epic as he expected it to be but may just be a "lousy way" to finish a career.

"If Sting wrestles HHH at WM31 I think that they would have an excellent match that would be well paced and tell a clearly understandable story that would be easy to follow. Nonetheless, this matter will likely be over analyzed and worn out by the time the big event gets here," Ross told Inquisitr.

Aside from Triple H, Sting is also rumored to go against The Undertaker but after the latter's loss to the Streak and an injury, he may not be able to schedule a match with Sting.

"If The Undertaker -- who was rumored to face Sting last year until the WWE opted to put Brock Lesnar in his path instead -- does come back, there are rumors he will face Bray Wyatt at Levi's Stadium," Sports World News added.

Sting, for his part, has expressed great interest to face The Undertaker or Triple H for that matter, as he is certainly prepared to take on any fighter that will be given to him.

Another WrestleMania must-see is a potential match between Triple H and The Rock though the latter has claimed that he may not be able to commit fully to the game because of his busy taping schedule for an upcoming movie.
