'Reign' Season 1 Episode 6 Spoilers: Mary is Threatened, Gets Closer to Bash [Video]

On the last episode of "Reign," another obstacle blocked Francis and Mary's relationship, and Mary and Sebastian got closer.

In the episode, Mary's (Adelaide Kane) ladies-in-waiting are making a fuss, and her intended is looking less charming as the days go by. Mary also starts to catch on to Queen Catherine's (Megan Follows) scheming ways.

Aylee (Jenessa Grant) is stealing things for no apparent reason, which allows Queen Catherine to blackmail her into sharing Mary's letters that she sends home to her mother in Scotland. But at the episode's end, Aylee tells Mary, "I'm in," which implies that it was all a plot devised by mary to keep tabs on Queen Catherine's devious plotting.

The episode also featured Olivia (Yael Grobglas) almost being killed by pagans in the woods, who sacrifice people and throw themselves off buildings. It's then revealed that Olivia used to spend time with Francis (Toby Regbo), which made her former marriage offer null and void. Francis and Mary both feel bad about Olivia's situation.

At first, Francis is too preoccupied with Mary to think about Olivia, but then he begins to consider Olivia's offer to be his mistress.

Mary confides in Bash (Torrance Coombs), and the two end up drunkenly kissing.

Afterwards, Francis goes to Mary to apologize for his behavior, beginning a full-on love triangle.

On the next episode, "Chosen," "Francis observes the growing bond between Mary and Bash, so he reaches out to Olivia. Meanwhile, Catherine wants to ensure that whoever threatened Mary is captured; Bash seeks to repay his debt; and Kenna tells her friends about her affair with Henry."

TVLine also confirms that Olivia will be staying at court for awhile and "making mayhem."

Watch the promo for "Chosen," which airs Thursday, Nov. 21 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
