If you think the color is of the kind decorating the world during Christmas, you wouldn't be wrong, as the KD 7 Lifestyle shoe genus is saying it's a "very KD holiday" with its red colorway.

The shoe in the "Challenge Red" colorway, scheduled for release on Dec. 6 at $115 a piece, "taps into the holiday spirit with a very merry color scheme," declared explanatory remarks on Nike.com, which will begin selling the model online at 8:00 a.m. EST (5 a.m. PST). It will also be carried by retailers worldwide, the website said.

With accents of Peach Cream and Black, the colorway adds to a line built for use outside of the court and imbibing the style of Kevin Durant himself.

"The holiday spirit is ignited with a challenge red premium suede upper and translucent ice sole," Nike.com said. The Vachetta Tan leather patches at the tongue, pull tab and laser-etched Swoosh complement the red.

Foot Locker Unlocked said it was the first clear Yuletide-intended shoe release for Nike, adding that its Launch Locator may help interested individuals find the stores that will sell the product.

Meanwhile, the Air Jordan Retro High OG "Black/Gum" can on the same day be had for $140.

Predominantly Black broken by streaks of Gum Light Brown, Nike.com said, "The time-honored classic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG gets a monochrome black leather upper. The Gum Light Brown outsole and Nike Air logo on the tongue tag tie the look together."

Sold on the website at one pair per customer, the colorway will also be available in kids' sizes, 3.5y-7y, at a cheaper rate of $100.

"We've yet to see an Air Jordan 1 quite like this even though the combination of black and gum has been done an infinite amount of times before by other Swoosh silhouettes," Sneaker News said in its review.

"Eh, nothing special! I'll keep my $150!!" said one of the comments, however.

If you want to invest more on Saturday, another shoe drops for the higher price of $225, the Air Jordan XX9's "Blackout."

The classic black and white combo comes from the genus of the lightest Air Jordan, thanks to an improved FlightPlate and the one-piece upper that hugs the foot, Nike.com said. It comes off as stealthy, it added.

The upper features different patterns, the report explained, while the white accents are not symmetrical — while the left and right pieces have white Jumpman logos on their heel and tongue, the left heel carries "23" while the other carries "JORDAN."

"Jordan Brand takes a break from retro releases for a moment to highlight its future. The latest colorway of the Air Jordan XX9 continues the all-black precedent set by successful Nike releases like the Flyknit Run Roshe and Air Max 90 Premium, outfitting the sneaker with a delightfully minimal upper and outsole," said Hype Beast in a review.
