England and Germany will face off in an international friendly Tuesday.

The English are coming off a painful 2-0 loss against Chile at home that saw the Three Lions look completely lost throughout the duration of the match.

"I am not prepared after one defeat to Chile to suggest that all the things we have been trying to do have been thrown out of the window," said Coach Roy Hodgson, according to The Guardian. "I can point to quite a few talented players who I have to bring back into the team.

"The defeat has hurt us, and it's one that will teach us a lot, but I am not prepared to go down that very clear philosophical route that we aren't moving in the right direction and we don't have the players who can do what Germany have done," he added.

Germany is coming off a solid 1-1 draw with Italy but witnessed an injury to Sami Khedira that could potentially leave the midfielder out of the World Cup next summer.

Few will forget the 4-1 loss in the World Cup between the two sides when a goal from Frank Lampard was not awarded; that goal would have tied the match at 2-2. Instead, Germany would score two more in the qualifiers to runaway with the win.

Prediction: Germany is the stronger side and should continue to humble the English. Expect a 2-0 win from the Germans in this match.

Start Time: Kickoff starts at 3 p.m. EST
