By Nens Bolilan| Nov 28, 2014

True to its name, the Kids' KD 7 has a colorway that might trigger the kids to go running around, when it is finally displayed at Nike stores worldwide on Nov. 28.

According to Nike.com, "This KD7 is made for the young athlete who excels in the paint and on the perimeter. It features a Hyper Pink upper, Metallic Silver Swoosh and pops of Hyper Grape on the midsole."

It will be available on the website Friday at 8 a.m. EST (5 a.m. PST), with variants sporting the color combo Hyper Punch/Hyper Grape/Dark Magnet Grey/Metallic Silver. The kids size (3.5Y-7Y) will go for $115, the preschool (10.5C-3Y) for $75 and the toddler (5C-10C) for $55.

Sole Collector considers it a suitable footwear for kids as well as ladies. It will also be available on VILLA in gradeschool sizes, it added.

The colorway "proves that Nike is committed to leaning on these energetic vibes in an effort to bring the 'Lightning' story that was first conceived upon the shoe's launch in late June," Sneaker News explained.

Nice Kicks, connecting it to"Lightning 534," said the model has a low-cut silhouette. Its heel area is scaly-looking. It also features a perforated toe, and hints of purple on the inner lining and midsole. It has black parts in the laces and strap. The Swooshes are silver.

Stupid Dope asked one thing: " Why not add some style to the kids in your life?" It says that apart from the colors that shout at you, the design is also excellent.

In the Sole Collector's comment box, perreo 1111 quipped: "Message to all kids don't take toy guns to the playground unless you want a double hyper punch of lead in your belly... Shoes look real nice for the target demographic, good for em."

Noraaeel said, "Kinda reminds me of candy...," while DeeJayOhThree agreed with Sole Collector in saying, "Bright..can see females wearing these.."

Meanwhile, on Foot Locker, one commenter said: "I love these shoes! They are my first pair of 7's and I'm going to deff. buy me some more! I usually wear a 5.5, but had to exchange for a 6, since they were a bit narrow on my foot, due to the strap, I think," after having used it for herself for a month.

The user also ran pros and cons. On the positive side, she wrote that it breaks in easy, has good traction. She also said that the model does not crease, is lightweight and comfortable, and easy to clean, among others. Under cons, she writes one thing: "runs narrow."

NayBay30 got it for her child and found that the child loved how it felt on his feet. On pros, she wrote that the shoe breaks in easily, has good traction, has cool colors and runs true to size and stays clean for long. Meanwhile, in cons, the user wrote, that the model had poor ankle support and was not breathable - so there are differing opinions.
