The shopping hype beginning Thanksgiving and beyond has commenced.

Last week, a PS4 Cyber Monday deal from Walmart offered quite a number of products with big discounts. According to Polygon, one of the deals takes the form of a bundle -- packing the PS4 console, a controller, "Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham," "LittleBigPlanet 3" and a choice of extra game for $449. Tom's Guide confirmed in a recent report that the ad is actually true, granting buyers a discount of $190.

A limited-edition, Super Mario Bros. Nintendo 3DS XL is also reported by Tom's Guide to come from Walmart, with price available on Dec. 1. The 3DS XL model retails for a usual price of $200. The outlet predicts a $50 price-cut, citing "some retailers" who have dropped their prices over the weekend.

Other deals cited by the source include Samsung's 55-inch 4K Ultra HDTV, LG's 49-inch 1080p TV and Sanyo's 58-inch 1080p HDTV.

Those eyeing to get Sony's next-gen console for the holidays may opt for an earlier Black Friday deal. TechRadar reported that Walmart is also offering a PS4 bundle for $449. This includes a 500 GB console, controller and choice of two games. Selection includes "Assassin's Creed: Unity," "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," "Destiny," "Dragon Age: Inquisition," "Driveclub," "Far Cry 4," "FIFA 2015," "Grand Theft Auto V," "LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham," "Madden NFL 15," "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor," "MLB 14," "NBA 2K15," "The Last of Us" Remastered and "Watch Dogs."

Alternatively, the PS4 console may be bought separately from Walmart for $399. The item comes with a controller and Bonus $50 Gift Card, according to Tech Radar. The DualShock 4 controller is currently sold by Amazon for $53.99.

Meanwhile, rival console, Xbox One, has also prepared for the holidays. Forbes recalled Microsoft's earlier price-slashing that sold the console for $349. This time, the outlet cited Target offering an Xbox One bundle with "Assassin's Creed: Unity" for $329. The deal comes with a bonus $50 Target Gift Card.

The outlet also reported that Microsoft will be selling the Xbox One (with or without Kinect) under a $70 price cut, with either "Forza Motorsport 5," "Titanfall" or "Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare" for free.

Also for Black Friday, Christian Today wrote that GameStop will offer the PS4 with "Grand Theft Auto V" and "The Last of Us" Remastered for $399. Deals below $100 from the retailer include the PS Gold Headset and other game titles starting from $30.
