'Suits' Season 3 Spoilers: Michelle Fairley Responds to her Death on 'Game of Thrones,' Signs on for Reoccurring Role

Where there is death, there is new life. With every final breath, there is a first. Actress Michelle Fairley may have abruptly been killed during last week's episode of "Game of Thrones," but she didn't let death tie her down. In the wake of her murder, Fairley immediately turned around and signed on for a reoccurring role in the third season of USA Network's "Suits."

Fairley will play Ava Hessington, a British entrepreneur who heads a successful international oil company, according to Entertainment Weekly. Ava will face a lawsuit that could potentially destroy her family business. She puts all her faith and trust in Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), and prays for the best. Hopefully things won't end as gruesome for Fairly as they did on "Game of Thrones." Then again, a surprise massacre complete with beheadings and sliced throats doesn't quite fit the "Suits" aesthetic, so she should be safe.

Fairley won't be the only "Game of Thrones" cast member to join the "Suits." Conleth Hill, who plays Varys on "Thrones," will be making his return appearance in his guest star role a British firm head Edward Darby as season 3 kicks off.

Looking forward to the July 16 premiere, Meghan Markle, who plays Rachel Zane, has provided fans with a brief overview of what to expect. "The July 16 premiere finds Mike and Rachel trying to 'navigate a relationship,' Markle said. 'There is an episode that is sort of like Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, where Mike comes to the Zane household, which will be pretty great to shoot.'"

"Rachel, meanwhile, is still coming to terms with Mike's big Harvard bombshell. 'It's a lot to take in,' Markle acknowledges. 'And also, you have to think, Donna knew about it, so that really challenges Rachel and Donna's friendship, that she wouldn't reveal that to her. This season is a lot of Rachel trying to determine who has been truthful with her and if she can forgive them.'"

"Suits" will return to USA Network on July 16.
