The intense battle of Germany at the pitch in the finals of the 2014 World Cup keeps on -- this time on players' gaming consoles. At this point, however, Germany is no victor just yet.

Bayern Munich's Mario Gotze delivers a dramatic address in the trailer of the "Pro Evolution Soccer 2015" ahead of the official worldwide release of the game on Nov. 13.

"'Every passage of play, every match, every touch, is unique. For us there is no other sport. This is where we come to worship, to live," said the attacking midfielder, who shot to stardom when he delivered the volley that spelled Germany's victory against Argentina on the 23rd minute of extra time.

"You can keep the easy goal, we are striving for the perfect one... We are the new era, the next generation and we will do our job where it counts," Gotze concludes.

The Dailymail UK described the opening as "[Gotze's] intense voiceover coming as his computer-generated image likeness carves up opponents in the game."

Gotze's starring in the video is Konami's answer to the EA Sports' "FIFA 15" trailer in September with Argentina's team captain Lionel Messi as the main cover star.

"PES 2015," known as "World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2015" in Asia, was released in North, Central and South America on Nov. 11 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.

Gamespot reported that the PS4 version will run in 1080p while the Xbox One version comes at a less sharp 720p.

"PES 2015," through its official Twitter account, posted the minimum and recommended Windows system requirements. It also said the game is compatible to Windows 8 and 8.1 users.

"PES 2015" boasted of its real-time animation of every pass, shot and off-the-ball run "fine-tuned to deliver an unparalleled experience for true fans," Konami said.

Through Kojima Production's FOX Engine, the game website said, gamers would be brought to the next-gen gaming potential where character players do not only look super realistic but also play just like their real-life counterparts.

The way they play may be the "PES 2015's" advantage against the "FIFA 15," another Gamespot article said, explaining: "If you're looking for something fast-paced, exciting and guaranteed to give you goals, then FIFA is for you. If you're looking to delve more deeply into passing, movement and working out how to break teams down, plump for PES."

So far, the game is on Metacritic's green side of the pointing system, with a metascore of 84 and a user rating of 7.9.

On the critics' side, Jeux Actu said there is work to be done with collisions, but the improvements give fans hope. XGN said it's the best PES output in years, save for license and presentation problems. The same comments are echoed on the User side of the website.

Critic Playstation Universe summarizes the reactions: "There is still work to be done for next year, but for now, where it matters most, PES is on the up."
