Marc Anthony Shannon De Lima Married: Dayanara Torres Forced Singer to Sell Mansion?

By Staff Reporter| Nov 12, 2014

A report is claiming that Marc Anthony listed his California mansion for sale before his wedding to Shannon De Lima and it might be because of ex-wife Dayanara Torres.

The San Fernando Valley Blog said Marc Anthony purchased the "Encino mock-Med mini mansion in the Amestoy Estates area" for $2.25 million in April 2013. "Flash forward 18 months and Anthony has had a change of heart and listed the home for $2.750 million on November 7, 2014," reads the report.

It looks like the singer is looking to make about $525,000 with the new price, noted San Fernando Valley Blog. The outlet speculates that it could be linked to increased child support for his kids with ex-wife Dayanara Torres.

"[It's] not known why Anthony is selling but it could be related to a new court judgement handed down to him in June 2014 where his child support payments for two boys from his second wife, former Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres, doubled from $13,400 to $26,800," reads the San Fernando Valley Blog report.

Marc Anthony and Dayanara Torres have two boys together, noted Fox News Latino. The singer also has a daughter and an adopted son with first wife Debbie Rosado, added San Fernando Valley Blog.

The Latino singer also has twins with Jennifer Lopez, stated San Fernando Valley Blog. The ex-couple's divorce was finalized in June 2014.

"Marc Anthony and Shannon de Lima got engaged back in March, but tried to keep their relationship as quiet as possible," revealed Inquisitr.

The "Flor Pálida" singer finally married the Venezuelan model in a private wedding ceremony on Tuesday, reported ABC News. The wedding vows were reportedly exchanged in "his residence in the exclusive Dominican resort of Casa de Campo," the report added.

Of his three ex-wives, only Lopez has publicly commented on the Marc Anthony and Shannon De Lima union. NY Daily News reported that Jennifer Lopez talked about the newly-wed couple's then engagement at the launch of her new memoir, "True Love."

"I'm happy for him," she said at the event, as reported by NY Daily News. She also said she was single but added that she'll find true love soon.

"It's not going to be forever. Someone great will come along," Lopez said.

The singer herself has been married thrice -- to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony. Shannon De Lima is Marc Anthony's fourth wife.
