After a nude photo controversy followed by six months of absence, Rihanna is finally back on Instagram.

The pop singer's account re-appeared on Saturday, November 1, after being suspended in May due to the racy and provocative photos she posted, reported Billboard.

The singer's comeback on Instagram was graced by an upside-down photo with the caption "Hellurrr #badgalback."

Since then, RiRi posted nine more photos for her fans, several of which showed the singer in a sexy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle costume for Halloween, Billboard adds.

Mashable reported that Instagram returned Rihanna's account almost entirely, including her nearly 13 million followers and her posts -- except for the explicit ones that prompted the website to shut down her account.

According to NY Daily News, Rihanna's Instagram page used to read "Page Not Found" during her absence, but the photo sharing company denied that they suspended the singer's account.

"Yesterday, we briefly disabled the account by mistake and restored it quickly," Alison Schumer of Instagram's public relations team said, as cited by NY Daily News. "I can confirm that we have not deleted the account subsequently," she added.

Back in April, Rihanna posted several topless photos from her photoshoot for French magazine Lui, Yahoo! Music reported. This apparently caused a rift between the photo sharing website and the singer. Yahoo! Music added that the provocative photos went against Instagram's strict policy when it comes to nude pictures, thus leading to the accidental suspension of Rihanna's account.

According to the report from Billboard, the singer also previously got in trouble with Instagram but not for explicit photos. Rihanna reportedly posted a photo of herself standing next to an Abu Dhabi mosque, "and another picture with an endangered animal, which resulted in the arrest of two Thai men," reported Billboard.

But all of that is under the rug now that the singer is back to business. Yahoo! Music reported that she even posted an animated photo depicting herself as a stick figure while holding hands with the Instagram logo blowing the singer a kiss.

Instagram also appeared happy about Rihanna's comeback. On the photo service's Twitter account, they tweeted "Welcome back @rihanna! #RIHunited #badgalback instagram," attaching the same animated photo that the singer posted on Instagram, Yahoo! Music adds.
