Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fight a Draw? Timothy Bradley Thinks So

For American boxer Timothy Bradley, the possible fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. will end up in a draw.

Asked about his opinion about the megafight, which reports said might happen next year, Bradley predicted that it will not be an easy match for both fighters.

"I think he [Pacquiao] does well, I honestly think it goes well," said Bradley, who lost to the Filipino boxer in April.

Bradley also told Sports World News that the fight is "a little more even now."

"I'm gonna have to favor Floyd Mayweather because he's just brilliant in his boxing ability but you can't take anything away from Manny Pacquiao. I'm not trying to blow smoke up my a** but I'm a really difficult fighter to deal with and Manny Pacquiao was able to deal with me, and if Manny Pacquiao is able to deal with me, he's able to deal with anybody else, I truly believe that," he added.

The fighter explained that this will also be a challenge to both since they also made changes in their fighting styles, with Mayweather being "a little bit more flat footed" and Pacquiao practicing a lot more caution with his game after getting knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez in 2013. Sports World News said Bradley offered these comments during a training session for his fight against Diego Chaves on Dec. 13.

Despite the lack of talks and confirmation on the Mayweather- Pacquaio fight, the camp of the Filipino boxer has expressed interest in making the fight happen.

Christian Today said that Pacquiao is still hoping that he'll finally face Mayweather, that is, if he can beat Chris Algieri on Nov. 22 in Macau.

"I'm crossing my fingers - hopefully that fight will happen by next year. Right now my mind is already set to focus on my next fight with Chris Algieri. I think the time to talk about that issue is after the fight," Pacquiao said in the Christian Today article.

Local Philippine news network GMA noted that Pacquiao is not yet considering retirement at this point in his career.

"I'm not thinking yet about retirement. I will continue my boxing career, the journey will continue in my boxing career and we'll see what happens," Pacquiao added.

He also claimed that he is not taking the Algieri fight "lighty" as he knows that his opponent is hungry for a win. "I'm not thinking about the knock-out because it will make me confident and careless. If the knock-out comes it will come but my focus is to make sure that 100 percent condition and killer instinct is there, the aggressiveness is there, so that's my focus in training."

For Mayweather's part, the undefeated American fighter has refused to confirm interest on a possible clash with Pacquiao. Though his father and trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. has hinted in earlier reports that the megafight would happen, the boxer has continuously denied that there have been talks or that there will be talks in the future.
