The Czech Republic and Canada will face off in an international friendly on Friday.

The Czech Republic has been eliminated from World Cup contention after finishing third in Group B of the UEFA Qualifiers. The team finished with a record of four wins, three draws and three losses and a total of 15 points. In the process the Czechs managed to score 13 goals while only conceding nine in 10 matches. Tomas Pekhart and Matej Vydra led the team in scoring with two tallies each.

The teams last met exactly 10 years ago on Nov. 15, 2013. The Czech Republic managed an impressive 5-1 win in that game.

Prediction: Canada has not been a great team and there is little reason to believe that they will outplay a more experience Czech side. Expect a 3-0 win from the Europeans.
