"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is one of the most talked about movies due out in 2015 and eager fans won't have to wait any longer to see a sneak peek of the upcoming film.

According to The Vergethe official trailer for "Avengers" sequel was leaked earlier today, a week earlier than scheduled. The teaser was suppose to make its debut during the new episode of "Agents of SHIELD" on Tuesday but that's not how it panned out.

After a low-quality video made it's way to the internet, Marvel quickly reacted by releasing the official trailer. Showing the entertainment studio still had a sense of humor, following the viral leak, Marvel Entertainment's Twitter account posted a simple but humorous tweet:

If there's anything we learned from the trailer, it's that the sequel has a much darker, ominous tone compared to the earlier film.
The two minute video opens with Ultron's (James Spader) voice saying: "I'm gonna show you something beautiful," and proceeds to show Earth covered in chaos and destruction.

With "I've Got No Strings" as the background music for the destructive montage, you see a whole lot of action and character-scenes that emphasize the challenge the mighty Avengers will face.

"Ultron really is terrifying" wrote Entertainment Weekly. Noting that most of the dialogue on the trailer is of Ultron speaking. Following this sneak peek, there is no doubt in anyone's mind that the "Blacklist" actor was the right man for the job.

Now we can finally see what Marvel's President of Production, Kevin Feige was talking about when he spoke to Movies.com about Spader's performance as Ultron:

"Our bad guy is great. I think people are going to very, very excited to see what we're doing with the voice that Joss [Whedon] is bringing to life with James Spader for Ultron. We love Ultron from the comics, and have always loved Ultron, and at no point do we want him to just be a robot. We want him to have an extreme personality and attitude, and James Spader is doing an unbelievable job. Again, for us it's always about subverting expectations. Whenever you think you know what's coming next, we surprise people or deliver it in a slightly unexpected way. And Spader is doing that with Mr. Ultron."

The trailer also shows Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) go head-to-head with the green giant, The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) using his combat-ready, custom Hulkbuster armor.

As an added treat to its fans, Marvel also shared it's teaser photo over Twitter that features a modern twist on the classic Avengers logo.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron," directed by Joss Whedon, is set to premiere in theaters May 1, 2015. The film stars the likes of Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders and franchise newcomers James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Paul Bettany.
