Everything you need to know about the improved offensive play coming with NBA Live 15 is showcased in one trailer recently released by EA Sports.

The video draws clear comparisons between NBA Live 14 and NBA Live 15, Sportskeeda.com said, with Attack of the Fanboy explaining that the teaser goes over the past edition for comparison. Shooting, dribbling and passing are better than they were in any previous game, the latter report said.

Watch it here and see for yourself:

EA Sports has released ratings information one after the other recently, and for the first time, they've released something on gameplay, Fansided said. This was previously a void made exciting by the great leap in graphics.

The new edition is hoping to retrieve the patrons of NBA Live it lost when it flunked, and it focused on improving fast breaks, EA Sports said. The NBA Live 14 was notorious for its slow response time in that play and the awkward positioning of the teammates. This new edition addresses that.

With the game also beefing up the artificial intelligence aspect, the report noted, players will observe a simplified playcalling and Quick action plays can happen with a single press. EA Sports also improved the pick and roll, through adding a feedback system showing if the avatars will pop, roll or pick.

All those enhancements are apart from the new Shot Feedback system, and an indicator showing the player where the hooper in possession shoots best and where he is or is not guarded, EA Sports added.

Saying that EA Sports did justice to shooting on NBA Live 15, Sportskeeda.com said it also addressed last year's inability to convert wide-open shots with hoops. Moreover, it said that dribbling, while just a small aspect of the virtual-reality experience, has been immensely polished, with better controls to pull off more authentic dribbles

The new scanning and lighting technology makes the players more realistic, too, Computer and Video Games said. The physics of the ballgame has been reconfigured as well.

With their newest product, EA Sports hopes to make a 180-degree turn from a past version plagued with negative feedback, the report noted. However, the rescheduling means one thing: 2K's NBA 2K15 is getting a three-week head start. NBA Live 15's US release was moved to Oct. 28 from Oct. 7—with the reasons still unidentified—available for PS4 and Xbox One.

But if the promise the EA game shows is any indication, the head start might not matter after all. The reviewer from Fansided, Ted Schwerzler, said the game is intriguing. After a two-year thumbs-down streak in execution, he thinks EA Sports won't disappoint this time around.

"FIFA 15 and Madden 15 both were solid entrants this season, and while NHL 15 lacked the content, the gameplay itself is impressive," he said on Fansided, hopeful that NBA Live 15 can follow suit.

Schwerzler added: "I'm expecting a big step forward from EA Sports and think they can deliver."
