On Tuesday morning Apple finally pulled back the curtain on its next line of phones and wearables for the end of the year.

As expected the iPhone 6 will come in two models: The standard 4.7 inch model and the iPhone 6 plus model with larger 5.5 inch screens. This of course means a differing price scale for both devices.

The iPhone 6 starts at $199 for 16 GB, $299 for 64 GB, and $399 for 128 GB. The iPhone 6 Plus goes for $299 for 16 GB, $299 for 64GB and $499 for 128 GB.

The phone will officially be available for preorder on Friday September 12th before launching on Sept. 19th.

Apple stressed the advancements that the company had made with this pair of new phones over their predecessors. The pixel quality is said to be incredibly rich with both phones taking advantage of the millions of additional pixels now available within the device.

Both phones will be thinner than their modern counterparts and will also come equipped with the new Apple A8 chip. The new chip will allow the phones to have a 25% faster CPU and up to 50% faster graphics performance. Apple was quick to show off this new feature with a demonstration of Vain Glory, a new game coming to iPhone running in real time in Metal. The company also announced that companies like EA, Epic Games and Ubisoft are all on board to create new games for the phone.

The iPhone 6 and 6 plus will also be launched alongside the newest mobile operating system from Apple: iOS 8. The new OS did not differ too much from what was shown a few months ago, but it will be critical to the larger phones UI including landscape viewing throughout the device.

Another big focus was the advancements that Apple has made with their cameras. 8MP iSight camera with True Tone, f/2.2 aperture, and an all-new sensor now grace the iPhone 6. It will also come with digital image stabilization and optical image stabilization.  Video will also be receiving a boost with 1080p 60fps quality showcases. Cinematic video stabilization has also been included making moving shots easy on the eyes for viewers.

Apple also discussed its new payments service, Apple Pay. This will utilize NFC along with TouchID to pay and charge directly from the phones. Many popular stores and restaurants will soon be adding Apple Pay to their locations to take advantage of the service and major credit and debit card providers are already partnered.

In classic Apple, "One more thing," form, the Apple Watch was finally made official. It has a square face and brand new OS, which the company insisted was not just a phone OS on a watch (though it does require an iPhone to function). Apple Pay will also be available on the new device.

The wearable will feature what Apple called Digital Touch communication allowing users to have live interactivity with other Apple Watch owners such as drawing and image sharing. The watch can also respond to text messages with preset text choices, emojis or through voice dictations through Siri.

The crystal sapphire display will feature a crown, like standard watches, that is used for navigation. Zooming in and out or scrolling through a page is all possible, while pressing it returns the device to the home page.

The watch will be available in two different sizes with three different variations: Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition. There will be six different straps available for the wearable, each taking advantage of the easily interchangeable system of the device.

The Watch faces can also be customized with big additions like different faces to more subtle tweaks such as color options.

The Apple Watch will be available next year starting at $349 and will work with the iPhone 5 as well as with the new iPhone 6 models.

One U2 performance and free album announcement later, and Apple officially concluded their latest hardware annoucement. There's plenty more that will be discussed in the coming weeks as developers prepare to bring this new hardware to store shelves.
