One of the most anticipated movies of 2015 is undoubtedly "Fifty Shades of Grey." The erotic fiction novel, starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, is based on the romance trilogy of British author, E.L. James.

While the world eagerly awaits the film's release, one person who isn't keen on seeing the movie is the lead actress's father, Don Johnson.

Dakota, 24, lead actress for the film is the daughter of "Miami Vice" actor Don Johnson and ex-wife, "Working Girl" star Melanie Griffith.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tippi Hedren, Dakota's grandmother through Melanie: "I understand Don Johnson is very upset about her being in the film. He kind of had the same feeling that I did."

"I've seen the trailer. That's all I have to watch," she continued.

This revelation runs contrary to the earlier comments of the 64-year-old father back in June. Seemingly supportive of the big role, the actor said, "This is the family business," when he guested on "Good Morning Britain" per THR.

"I am absolutely certain that Dakota will take a piece of material and a character, which a lot of people might imagine could be inappropriate in some ways, and turn it into something spectacular," said the celebrity dad.

He did say that while he is proud at the trajectory of his daugther's career, he woulnd't watch the film. "I probably will not see it just because it's not a movie I would see," quoted US Magazine of Johnson. "I've never seen The Vampire Diaries, I've never seen Twilight. It's in a category of films that I just wouldn't be interested in."

The first book, released in 2011, with its sequels, "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed," were published in 2012 and sold over 100 million copies globally. The book series is well-known for its sexual practices and erotic scenes that feature bondage/discipline, dominance/submission, and sadism/masochism (BDSM).

Melanie, 57, has echoed the same sentiments. "I have not seen ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey'. I don't think I'm going to see it," admitted the screen legend.

"[Dakota] was like, ‘You guys cannot come. There's no way.' So we're not going. I did go visit for a couple of days when they were shooting just normal stuff. I did see the Room of Pain - I did go in there and check it out," shared the actress to IndieWire.

The movie is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson with a release date slated for February 13, 2015.

To get an idea of what Tippi is talking about, below is the trailer for the movie that went viral upon its release back in July.
