Kristen Bell gave "Frozen" fans a treat when she made a surprise appearance at the opening night of the "Frozen Sing-Along" at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

The 34-year-old actress told Entertainment Weekly: "There is no way to foresee a movie's success or how much it would touch people."

"You strive to make the best movie possible and I felt like we did that," she added.

The star, who lent her voice to give life to Princess Anna, was joined by characters dressed as both Anna and on-screen sister, Queen Elsa. MSN noted that Bell's appearance was met with cheers and a standing ovation.

She is still in awe about the great success of the film globally and continued to tell EW: "It's especially invigorating because music is what brought me to performing and acting in general. From doing so much non-singing work and being satisfied with that, to have it then be able to reincorporate music into what you do as a performer -- which is hopefully tell a good story -- it feels weirdly full circle. To be able to do it is one thing, to be hired to do it is really lucky."

Spectacular Hit

The animated film "Frozen" was released in November 2013 that features the adventures of Princess Anna and rugged iceman Kristoff as they try to save their kingdom from the icy spell Queen Anna has put on it. It featured the voice of Kristen Bell along with Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, and Santino Fontana.

"Frozen" became an instant success reaching over $1.2 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing animated film of all time and the fifth-biggest film in box office history.

Rumors are rumbling of a sequel, "Frozen 2," which has yet to be officially confirmed, but a book series is definitely happening. For the mean time, fans will have to make do with the fourth season of "Once Upon A Time." Catch Anna, Elsa and Kristoff as they take over Storybrooke and bring "Frozen" to your television. The series is set to return with its premiere on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

For more "Frozen" goodness, Disney's Frozen Sing-Along is set to run at the El Capitan until September 7th. In addition, there will be a special edition DVD will be released November 18.
