The King of Pop, via the Jackson Estate and Epic Records, released a video of another new song on Twitter.

"It's time! The first ever premiere of "A Place With No Name" right now on Twitter #MJXSCAPE" reads the tweet.

According to USA Today, the music video will be exclusive to Twitter for 12 hours. The video, which the outlet described as a "short film," is the allegedly "one of the first music videos to premiere on the social platform."

In a Twitter blog post, Bob Moczydlowsky, the social media platform's Head of Music, said that the video features "never before seen footage of the King of Pop."

"The short film also includes outtakes and behind-the-scenes footage of Jackson shot during the production for 'In The Closet' back in 1992," said Forbes.

The Verge said that the song is part of Jackson's second posthumous album, "XSCAPE." "A Place With No Name" is reportedly a "reinvisioning" of "A Horse With No Name," added Forbes. It was allegedly recorded way back in 1998.

Epic Records reportedly tapped StarGate and director Samuel Bayer, said Forbes, in order for "A Place With No Name" to come into fruition. The outlet added that StarGate has a slew of popular singers under its belt including Rihanna, Katy Perry and Beyonce.

"XSCAPE" was released in May 27 and gained traction when Usher debuted one of the tracks during the 2014 iHeartRadio Music Awards, "Love Never Felt So Good."

The song is originally a collaboration between Paul Anka and the King of Pop in 1983.

The posthumous album includes 8 tracks, all recorded by Jackson between 1983 and 1999. "XSCAPE" also features other musicians such as Mary J. Blige, Justin Timberlake, D'Angelo, Questlove and Jesse Johnson of The Time.

Moczydlowsky said that the King of Pop has over 1.4 million Twitter followers. "Throughout the past year, there have been more than 6.4 million mentions of the late pop legend @MichaelJackson," he added.

With this, it is safe to say that debuting one of "XSCAPE'"s track on Twitter is a wise move for the Jackson Estate and Epic Records. In addition, music is apparently "hot" on Twitter.

"Music is the No. 1 most-discussed subject on Twitter in the U.S., and 50% of all of our users follow at least one musician," USA Today quoted Shavone Charles, a Twitter spokeswoman. "Music fans from around the globe flock to Twitter to discover and discuss new music in the moment."
