Finally, the long-awaited official trailer for "Fifty Shades of Grey" has been released. The nearly two and a half minute clip showing the intense chemistry between Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) got fans longing for more.

The trailer sticks to the plot of the book series as it begins with Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele's first meeting. Steele's voice radiates as she describes Grey as "Polite. Intense. Smart. Really intimidating." A part of the trailer also captures Steele's reaction as she sees the red room of pain for the first time.

Given the sexually-charged nature of the book by British author E. L. James, the trailer has finally answered a number of questions. Before the release of the trailer, many people were wondering how the film would pull off the story given the sheer amount of erotica in the book and, seeing the preview of the film, Sam Taylor-Johnson has directed the movie in a classy way.

It was actress Eloise Mumford, who revealed to E! Online last month, that the movie is going to be "tasteful and artistic."

"[Sam Taylor-Johnson] such a great director," said Eloise Mumford who was cast to play Anastasia Steele's roommate. "I knew right away it would be tasteful and artistic. And the cinematographer is Seamus McGarvey. He did Anna Karenina. It's going to be beautiful."

She continued to say that the story focuses on the romance and love much more than the sex. "In the end, the story really is a romance and a love story so it's about that more than anything."

James tweeted the announcement of the trailer arrival as early as July 9 and was true to her world. Saying: "Hold on to your hats folks. You'll get your first look at the FSoG movie trailer on July 24. I've had a sneak peek and WOW! #WeAimToPlease", from the reaction of many, the trailer has indeed pleased the people.
