The much-awaited sneak peek for the upcoming film, "Fifty Shades of Grey," will soon be released, contrary to earlier reports. Author of the popular S&M fiction, E.L. James, tweeted on July 9 that the first glimpse of the film will be available within the month!

It was believed that the trailer will be shown at a later date, September 17 to be exact. This is because movie companies are required to abide by a new rule set by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA). The rule states that movie trailers cannot be released more than five months ahead of the film schedule. It is still unclear whether the "sneak peek" that James was referring to will be the full trailer, or just a snippet of it.

Filming of the movie wrapped up a few months back and the only thing that was given to the impatient public was an official teaser poster. A trailer will definitely be a welcome treat! (Click here to view them)

It was only last week when The Tracking Board claimed that Universal Studios was already preparing for the adaptation of James' second book in the series, "Fifty Shades Darker."

"Universal is betting on the fact that their upcoming 'Fifty Shades of Grey' adaptation will make a lot of money, and I think that would be a pretty safe bet," reported the Hollywood insider site.

"Getting a head start is a smart move on Universal's part, because the sooner they have a workable script, the sooner they can start production on the second installment of this cash-cow franchise."

"Fifty Shades of Grey" is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by E. L. James. The film stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele. It is expected to come out around Valentine's Day next year, February 15, 2015.

While waiting for the trailer to come out, fans can watch a teaser trailer that was already shown during Cinema Con. It's unconfirmed if the same one will be released within the month. Nevertheless, to see what people had to say about the trailer, read this
