With the possibility of losing their top three players, LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade, Miami Heat is reportedly taking in power forward, Josh McRoberts, to compensate for the absence of the "Big three."

Aside from McRoberts, the Heat should take in more "big guys" if the team wants to successfully get the solid attention of James, more so, if the team wants to succeed in the next NBA season, Rant Sports commented.

According to USA Today, McRoberts will join the team "on a four-year, $23 million deal." One of the news site's sources added that the plan has not yet been formalized because of the free agency moratorium, which will be lifted on July 10, Thursday.

In a statement, Miami Heat president of basketball operations, Pat Riley, said that the team has "engaged in negotiation with McRoberts who has also shown his interest to sign with Heat at the end of the NBA moratorium period," CBS Sports reported.

McRoberts's statistics, according to the same CBS Sports report, "averaged 8.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists in 30.3 minutes." He was an integral part of Charlotte's success during the playoffs.

Aside from McRoberts, the Heat is also planning to acquire Danny Granger, "a former nemesis of the Heat," Sporting News said.

ESPN sources claimed that the former Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Clippers player has agreed to a $4.2 million deal with the Heat. Granger averaged 8.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game during the previous NBA season, ESPN added.

Will McRoberts's strong "passing and shooting ability" as ESPN described and Granger's offensive and defensive strategy, be enough to convince James to stay with the Heat?

USA Today noted that James will meet Riley within the week to discuss some important matters regarding his NBA career.

Recently, Heat's star player opted out of his contract with the team and chose free agency. James has yet to decide whether he will stay with Miami or transfer to another team. Ultimately, the team which will bring him to another NBA championship gets his "Yes."
