The world awaits with eager anticipation as the next installment of the popular movie franchise, "Star Wars," is finally being filmed, this time, under Disney's leadership.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" actor Andy Serkis, 50, appeared on Conan O'Brien show and spilled the beans on what it's like to be on the set with director J.J. Abrams. The "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" star joked that the security is so tight no one can head to the bathroom without leaving their script behind.

"I'd love to tell you all about [Star Wars] but we are so heavily embargoed we can't even go to the washroom with the script, there are CCTV cameras," said the popular actor. "I'm making it up but it kind of feels like that," he continued with a smile.

During the course of the interview, the two talked about how Serkis sealed the "Star Wars" role and gave the actor props on his great acting skills.

Conan said: "J.J. Abrams saw footage of you doing motion capture and was so inspired and impressed by you, that he cast you in the new Star Wars movie. That's very exciting," quoted Express UK.

Details as to the character of the actor has yet to be revealed but given the diverse project list under his belt, like Gollum on "Lord of the Rings," Serkis's talents go from middle earth to space. Other projects of Serkis include big ticket films like "King Kong" and "Tintin."

Serkis will be joining a stellar crew of actors that include returning original stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Kenny Baker, Anthony Daniels and Peter Mayhew. Newcomers gracing the movie are Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega and Max von Sydow.

The talent on set is high and Director Abrams said in a statement before filming began, "We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again," quoted Entertainment Wise.

"We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."

Fans have a long wait ahead of them as Disney set the release of "Star Wars: Episode VII" to December 18, 2015.
