The universe might have conspired to please fans of the Caped Crusader, with news breaking out that a movie around him is in the works, yes, apart from two big-screen appearances with his colleagues in the Justice League.

Shortly after NikkiFinke.com revealed a lineup of seven superhero movies for Warner Bros. to release between 2016 and 2018, here comes news from Latino Review that Batman, the Ben Affleck version, will star in his own film in 2019.

The planned movie, with the working title "The Batman," would align with Affleck's multiple picture deal to appear as the mysterious DC Comics superhero, which Warner Bros. has exclusive screen rights to.

Latino Review details Affleck's schedule with the rumored new Batman solo film saying that the "Batman vs Superman" movie should be ending production in December, with the studio taking a break for the holidays and beginning the "Justice League" production in the winter of 2015.

In the summer of 2015, Affleck might take a break from playing Batman as he writes, directs and stars in his period gangster film "Live By Night," scheduled to hit theaters in October 2016. After the release, the report added, the studio will get time to develop the screenplay of the stand-alone Batman movie, believed to start production in 2017 or 2018.

The movie would then allegedly be released long after Batman appears with Superman in 2016 for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and with the rest of his renowned superhero alliance for "Justice League" in 2017 if the Nikki Finke schedule is to be followed.

It can be recalled that Affleck's casting was met with surprise and rage by Batman fans worldwide as previously reported by New York Daily News. The casting of the 41-year-old Academy Award winner was not received well by comic book nerds who did not like his performance as "Daredevil," said the report, adding that some viewed it as an unwelcome comedown from his highly acclaimed "Argo."

Twitter also lit up because Affleck's name seemed to just appear from nowhere, with hunks Ryan Gosling and Joe Manganiello rumored beforehand to be in a short list of possible Bruce Wayne players.

The mayhem was quelled though when "Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder tweeted a picture of Affleck in the famous cape and cowl recently, said New York Daily News, with the photo revealing a chiseled actor.

As Bruce Wayne, Affleck has big boots to fill, the New York Daily News said, with inevitable comparisons between him and Christian Bale, who defined the "Dark Knight" trilogy. He wears the mask looking at the whopping $2.5 billion Bale's turn earned worldwide at the box office.
