Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach recently said he sees the possibility of a showdown between Manny Pacquiao and his former prize fighter Amir Khan in the near future.

Roach, who guided Pacquiao to becoming the only eight-division world champion in the history of the sport, is hopeful that Golden Boy and Top Rank promotions will eventually settle their disputes to arrange bouts involving fighters from their respective camps.

One of these exciting bouts he's looking forward to see is the battle between Pacquiao and Khan, who previously trained under his tutelage few years ago. Roach added that London might appear an attractive location for their bout, but Las Vegas will still host this match because of the huge amount of money at stake.

"Never say never," Roach told the Telegraph about a possible fight between Pacquiao and Khan. "They sparred together quit a bit. Amir always does well in the early rounds but Manny always took charge in the second half of the fight when they sparred. But when they did spar it was fun to watch and very entertaining."

Roach warned his former fighter that he's in for a tough battle with hard-puncher Luis Collazo on May 3. The famous trainer believes Khan should be cautious against Collazo, who is coming off a knockout victory at the expense of former welterweight Victor Ortiz.

"Khan's responsible for his own actions. His next fight on May 3, against Luis Collazo, is a very dangerous fight. Collazo is coming off a knockout win, and he's not afraid to exchange. And he's pretty heavy-handed. It's not an easy fight for either side," Roach told The Telegraph.

Khan and Collazo will duke it out in the undercard of the main event bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Marcos Maidana.
