With the LG Electronics launch event, unveiling the LG G2 imminent, here's everything you need to know about the LG G2, including where to watch the live stream of its unveiling.

But first, there's the LG G2's press shots, which were leaked on Tuesday, ahead of the big event. None other than @evleaks, the Twitter team behind most HTC leaks, issued out these press shots showing the front and back of the device.

The LG G2, previously called the LG Optimus G2 before the South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer dropped the Transformers-tinged title, will be unveiled at a launch event in New York City at the Lincoln Center's Rose Hall. If you want to be among the first people to set eyes on LG's new flagship smartphone, you can watch the livestream here at 11 AM EDT. Or just watch the embedded livestream right here:

Rumors have put its specs as the following: the LG G2 is thought to be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, probably clocked at 2.3GHz with Adreno 330 graphics and assisted by 2GB of RAM, but this hasn't been confirmed yet. It will sport a 5.2-inch display running 1920 x 1080 full high definition resolution, on the toughest smartphone touchscreen material Corning has yet to make - Gorilla Glass 3. It's also supposedly the "world's thinnest display," due to a proprietary LG design.

Other specs include a 32GB internal storage capacity, with a microSD card slot to augment the LG G2's total storage. The LG G2 will have a 2,610 mAh battery providing power, which is thought to be removable. As for the cameras, not a lot is known about the front-facing camera, but the main shooter is expected to be 13-megapixels.

If you saw the LG G2 promotional art and wondered if there's a fingerprint scanner, tough luck. All signs point to volume controls instead of a brand new way to unlock your smartphone.
