Today EA Sports FIFA released a new trailer that shows and explains the six different gameplay modes available for the game.

In it, Mat Prior, the lead producer of the game, takes you through the game, boasting that it has the deepest set of game modes, starting with Road to the World Cup.

This mode lets player take control of any of the 203 FIFA teams. There can be a max of 32 local players, and there is more than 50 hours of dialogue that will change to meet your team's situations. There are many real world locations, such as Trafalgar Square in London and St. Basil Cathedral in Moscow, where fans will celebrate on the streets. Prior says it's the "most immersive tournament mode," in the video.

Captain Your Country is a popular game mode that is returning for this World Cup version. Start at the bottom and work your way up. There's a new auto-position system that makes the game more accessible than ever.

In Road to Rio de Janeiro, you start at the Arena de Amazônia in Manaus, and players can take their country to the 12 FIFA World Cup venues. This is an online-only mode.

Online FIFA World Cup challenges you to go from the group stage to the World Cup finals.

The Story of Qualifying takes you back to the qualifying process, where there are 60 real-life scenarios that impact your game. It's a chance to "recreate history" through the objectives and challenges.

The last mode is The Story of Finals, another online game mode. This will be activated at the beginning of the tournament, and you get to be challenged based on what happened the day of the tournament, which will also keep you up to date.

Skill games and online friendlies offer even more modes.

The game will follow the biggest sporting event, and Prior promises that it'll "bring you closer than ever before."

The World Cup game will only be available on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 because these are the consoles with the most users.

As for FIFA players on XBOX One and Playstation 4, EA Sports has promised World Cup-themed content for it's popular Ultimate Team mode, but specific details have not been announced.
