Carmelo Anthony felt the love of a good number of Chicago Bulls fans on Sunday, but it was not enough to overshadow his frustration after the New York Knicks absorbed another blowout loss.

Anthony, who will reportedly consider signing with the Bulls when he hits free agency this summer, admitted that he was impressed with Bulls fans' efforts to convince him to play in Chicago next year.

Bulls fans showed to the game prepared to woo Melo to Chi-town with homemade recruitment posters, including one fan who had a poster showing a photo of Anthony captioned: "Melo to Chicago."

"I saw a couple of those tonight," Anthony said, The NY Post reported. "It was a good sign. It was good."

But while Anthony praised those recruitment posters, the 29-year-old superstar couldn't hide his disappointment after the Knicks took a 109-90 beating from the Bulls at the United Center.

Anthony said that their recent woes have been very embarrassing and frustrating, adding that they are not playing with a winning attitude.

"Without a doubt, it's embarrassing. It's frustrating, embarrassing," Anthony said. "Teams win and lose night in, night out, but just the way we're not approaching the game with a winning attitude. I'm rambling right now, but it's frustrating and I don't like to be embarrassed like that."

The Knicks are now on a six-game losing skid and have lost in 12 of their last 14 games.

The Knicks, who are currently 11th in the Eastern Conference, still have a chance to advance to the playoffs. But for that to happen, Anthony said that they should start competing and playing with pride.

"At this point, there are no answers to it. As a team, we got to have some sense of pride and just go out there and compete. It seems we're not even competing right now. We have to do a much better job of just having a sense of pride," Anthony said.

Anthony has been very vocal about his disappointment in the team this season; Sunday's statement was not the first time he's taken a swipe at his teammates.

While he previously stated that re-signing with the Knicks was his top priority, it is widely believed that New York's disappointing season this year will force Anthony to sign elsewhere this summer.
