What will Lupita Nyong'o wear to the Academy Awards? It's a question many can't wait to find out.

The red carpet fashionista has stunned in Christian Dior, Chanel, Gucci and any other designer she has worn this award season. Rightfully, people want to know who this very stylish lady will show up wearing at the Oscars.

Here's a small clue: "I love color and gravitate toward solid block colors. I like clean lines and a classic look, but I also like to have a sense of humor and wear things that put a smile on my face. I like to wear things; I don't like things to wear me. I don't like fuss," she said on Good Morning America.

The 30-year-old actress also said she has found many designers that fit her aesthetic after researching their styles.

"It's been a great education-a great discovery-to find clothing artists who are doing things that I feel express something about myself."

She may look to Elizabeth Taylor, Iman and Cate Blanchett as style inspiration nowadays, but she didn't always care about fashion.

"I wasn't the girl who bought the fashion magazines. I'd always just worn what appeals to me," she told The Daily Beast. "I know that even if I don't' buy the magazines and stuff, with fashion and style, you pick up influences all the time-if your eyes are open, you're being influenced by fashion and style, whether you like it or not."

The way the "12 Years a Slave" star has taken over the red carpet could have fooled us. She looks as though she's been preparing for the red carpet her whole life.

But based on what we know about Nyong'o, here are our top three picks for what she should wear to the Oscars:

Bouchra Jarrar Spring 2014 Couture
Jenny Packham Fall/Winter
Dennis Basso Fall/Winter 2014
