The Cleveland Cavaliers are reportedly shopping All-Star small forward Luol Deng at the 11th hour of Thursday's NBA trade deadline, with the Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks all showing interest in signing the versatile swingman.

The Cavaliers are apparently not done yet making deals on the trade front as the final hours tick toward the end of the midseason NBA trading period. After sending two second round draft picks and Earl Clark to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for center Spencer Hawes, the Cavaliers are reportedly trying to dispose of Deng and his expiring contract.

Deng, who was acquired in a Jan. 9 trade with the Chicago Bulls that helped them dispatch the burdensome contract of disgruntled center Andrew Bynum, is once again on the trading block following reports that he's not interested in committing to a longterm deal with his current team.

"Forward Luol Deng is being openly shopped by the Cleveland Cavaliers, as ESPN first reported Wednesday, but Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Deng is set on becoming a free agent this offseason, when he is likely to garner more than $10 million annually as a free agent," SB Nation reported.

Because Deng won't sign a longterm deal with any team, Cleveland is unlikely to find any team willing to trade for the two-time NBA All-Star before the 3 p.m. Thursday trade deadline.

Pistons, Mavs, Pacers and Lakers Pushing for Deng

According to the latest buzz on the trade front, there are at least three teams pursuing for Deng before the 3 p.m. deadline. The Detroit Pistons, the Dallas Mavericks and the Indiana Pacers have all expressed interest in hammering out a deal for Deng, while the Lakers could be a wildcard in the race to land Deng.

The Pistons could offer either Josh Smith or the expiring deal of Greg Monroe while the Pacers are obviously testing the market for former All-Star small forward Danny Granger. It remains unclear what the Mavericks can offer, while the Lakers can pull off a deal out of nowhere with Pau Gasol as the centerpiece of the package.

"Wojnarowski reports that the Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons have inquired about Deng leading into the deadline," SB Nation reported.
