A limited-edition version of the PlayStation 4 has been announced based around Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.

Sony unveiled the new PS4 through its Japanese Sony Store, where it revealed that the limited-edition bundle will be available starting on March 20. The bundle, which will cost 46,980 yen (or around $460), will included a special-edition PlayStation 4 with the Foxhund logo on the top and a copy of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. However, this bundle has only been confirmed for Japan so far.

Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, originally took to Twitter to tease fans that the bundle was coming. His message, translated by Dualshockers, was the first hint that the first chapter in Metal Gear Solid 5 would inspire a special edition of the PlayStation 4.

"[SONY] × [PS4] × [MGS GZ] collaboration initiative is in progress. More information at a later date," wrote Kojima on Twitter.

Meanwhile, as Konami reported, the PS4 has the best specs to run Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. The PlayStation 4 version of the game hsa 1080p resolution and runs at 60fps, while the Xbox One version is only capable of 720p running at 30fps.

This is the latest in a growing list of games on the PlayStation 4 that have better graphics than the Xbox One. Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (and presumably the rest of Metal Gear Solid 5 when it is released) will join Tomb Raider and other games that will have the graphical edge on the Sony machine.

With Titanfall, the Xbox One's biggest exclusive in 2014 also running at 720p, Microsoft has a small controversy on their hands. Some Microsoft studios are defending Microsoft in this regard, but some tech-minded fans may pass on the Xbox One in favor of the PlayStation 4 due to the higher graphical power of the console.

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will be released on March 18.
