Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin finally hit the court last week wearing his new Adidas shoe for the first time since signing an endorsement deal with the German-based sports shoe and apparel manufacturer.

Lin debuted the brand new shoe brand from Adidas, the Crazyquick 2, in a Jan. 22 game against the Sacramento Kings. The former Harvard hot shot came through with a solid performance, recording 13 points and 4 assists in that match.

Houston Rockets beat writer Phillip Pyle of Sports Illustrated Fansided commented on Lin's Crazyquick 2 debut.

"The Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin recently left Nike and signed an endorsement contract with Adidas. Last week Lin debut the soon-to-be released Crazyquick 2, and did so wearing the low top version," Pyle reported.

"Typically with Adidas basketball sneakers, the low cut version releases at the end of a shoe's promotional cycle so we aren't likely to hear much about these for a few more months now, even after the adidas Crazyquick 2 officially releases," he added.

Many Linsanity followers will surely be glad to see their favorite player finally wearing an Adidas shoe after his breakup with Nike.

Volvo and Lin's Bizarre Workout

Since his sudden rise to fame in New York City in 2012, Lin has worked out a pretty good relationship with one of his major sponsors - Volvo. In his latest stint in a televised ad for the carmaker, the California-based baller was seen doing exercises and shooting drills in and on the brand new Volvo XC60.

"Jeremy Lin rose to prominence as a point guard for the New York Knicks in February of 2012 when he came out of nowhere to lead the team to a string of victories," Auto Blog's Chris Bruce reported.

"Volvo was quick to notice and signed him as the company's US spokesperson that March. Since then, he has starred in several Volvo advertisements, and his latest ad shows just how he uses his Volvo XC60 to train for the court. The highlight is Lin shooting free throws out of the sunroof," he added.

The 25-year-old Lin is averaging 13.1 points, 4.2 assists and 2.3 rebounds in a sixth man role for the Rockets this season.
