Uruguayan international Luis Suarez has hinted which team he would play for should he return to the English Premier League later on in his career.

The FC Barcelona forward told ESPN, via Daily Mirror, that he would only suit up for his old club Liverpool if he ever goes back to England.

"You never know what might happen in the future, but if I were to return to England it would only be to play for Liverpool and never for another team," Suarez declared.

He admitted that it's the Liverpool fans and the electric atmosphere at Anfield Stadium that he missed the most. He said, "Everyone that has played for Liverpool knows how important the supporters are. They know that they're in my heart."

Suárez surely had his fair share of shivers every time the Reds played their famous anthem. Rodgers and Hammerstein's 1945 classic "You'll Never Walk Alone" is already a powerful song to sing alone. Imagine how it would be like if no less than 46,000 fans sing it in unison.

TalkSport ranked Liverpool as the number one team with the loudest fans in the entire EPL, maxing out at 97 decibels.

Suarez played for Liverpool from 2010 to 2014, scoring a total of 82 goals for the Reds. Fans began tuning into Suarez when he became a member of a potent triumvirate, which includes Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge.

The now 28-year old Uruguayan made soccer history in July 2014, when he inked a deal with FC Barcelona worth €94 million, or roughly $103 million prior to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The five-year contract made Suarez one of the most expensive soccer players ever.

BBC pointed out that Suarez is currently the top scorer in La Liga with 18 goals to his name, besting the likes of Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and his Barca teammates Lionel Messi and Neymar.

We are only midway into the 2015-2016 season, but Suarez has already eclipsed his score line from the previous year. The Uruguayan tallied 16 goals last season to help Barca win the La Liga Championship. The Camp Nou squad also won the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup that same year.

As for Suarez's beloved Anfield Stadium, the arena is accommodating 500 less fans than the previous year due to the reconstruction of its Main Stand. Liverpool officials revealed the project costs $143 million. That's a fair investment, considering it would add 8,500 more seats to Anfield at the start of the 2016-2017 English Premier League season.
