It may have taken Kim and Kanye a while to finally decide on a name for their newborn baby boy, but now that they did, it's equally unusual as North, although don't worry, they did not name him South, either.

People Magazine noted that Kimye took almost a week to name their daughter North, so it comes as no surprise that while they did decide to give their son the middle name "Robert," after Kim's father, they took a while to settle on "Saint" for his first name.

That's right. Kanye junior is named Saint West. Baby Saint, born on December 5th, was also revealed to weigh a healthy 8lbs., 1 oz. Of course, there have been a lot of speculation about their baby's name, with rumors saying that they may name him Easton (which was quickly shot down), or South (which Kim said is not an option).

While many may wonder Kim and Kanye's choice of baby names, "North" and "Saint" are hardly the most unusual ones. Here are other unusual baby names from Hollywood:

  1. Elsie Otter Pechenik -- daughter of Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik. Reports say that they chose the name because otters are "really sweet, they're also smart, they use tools to keep their favorite tools, [and] they hold hands while they sleep."
  2. Bronx Mowgli Wentz -- son of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. It's no surprise considering how the couple had a thing with Disney, with their Mad Hatter wedding cake and Winnie the Pooh baby shower, but naming him Mowgli from "The Jungle Book," may have taken their obsession too far.
  3. James Reynolds -- baby of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Sure, James is a typical name for a boy, but their first-born is a girl. Blake explained via Glamour, "It's a family name, and I liked having a boy's name [myself] so I thought I'd pass it along."
  4. Briar Rose Christensen -- daughter of Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen. If the name seems familiar to you, it's another nod to Disney; Briar Rose was the name that the fairies gave to Princess Aurora in "Sleeping Beauty" while they were hiding her in the forest.
  5. Blue Ivy Carter -- daughter of Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z. There's no explanation why they named her Blue, but Ivy is said to represent the Roman numeral for four (IV), the power couple's favorite number.
  6. Suri Cruise -- daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. Nobody knows exactly why they gave her this particular name, but it's fun to keep people guessing, especially considering that the name has several meanings that range from "Princess" to "pickpocket."

Which celebrity baby name do you think is the most unique?
