Because of the many failures of the game for its PC version, Warner Bros. said it will offer refund for owners of the "Batman: Arkham Knight" on PC.

According to PC Gamer, the American entertainment company assured owners of the game on Steam that they will get refund for their money.

On the game's Steam page, Warner Bros. said: "We are very sorry that many of our customers continue to be unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues."

It added that they will offer the repayment until the end of the year "regardless of how long you have played the product."

"You can also return the Season Pass along with the main game (but not separately). For those of you that hold onto the game, we are going to continue to address the issues that we can fix and talk to you about the issues that we cannot fix," Warner Bros added.

It was added in a similar Engadget report that the game developer finally gave up on the issues of the game after its broken launch and a four-month effort to turn things around.

Last June, Warner Bros. announced the suspension of sales because of the poor performance of the PC port.

"We take these issues very seriously and have therefore decided to suspend future game sales of the PC version while we work to address these issues to satisfy our quality standards. We greatly value our customers and know that while there are a significant amount of players who are enjoying the game on PC, we want to do whatever we can to make the experience better for PC players overall," the company added.

Though the main game can be refunded, the DLC cannot be returned as a separate one with some versions of the game also not reportedly eligible for a refund.

Engadget also added that Warner Bros. has promised to still continue fixing the problems of the games though there are no guarantees if these will work in the future.

In addition, Forbes mentioned that the game worked well on the PS4 and Xbox One though the mess on the PC port was already anticipated prior to its launch. Gamers have complained here and there of the issues but at least now, they have the option to just take back the money they spent for the game.

"Some Steam users have reported issues with refunds, but Valve has updated the original post saying those issues should be resolved at this time," added the same report.
