The Xbox One has overcome several obstacles since its launch, but now, a new unique problem concerning a fluid leaking out of the console could be an indication the Xbox One still has some serious problems that need to be fixed.

On the Xbox Support forums, some users are reporting that fluids have been leaking out of the Xbox One. It is unclear what these fluids are, or where they're coming from. Users are reporting a black, oil-like substance is coming out of the console as well as a milky fluid being found in the vents of the machine. However, in the cases reported on the forums the console remained operational, and it does not seem like the Xbox One will break if these fluids are leaking. However, it certainly begs the question: where are these fluids are coming from?

It should be noted that there are only about two reported cases of this problem out of the 2 million Xbox One consoles that have been sold since the device was launched in over a dozen countries on Nov. 22. Clearly the problem hasn't reached epidepmic proportions, so the vast majority of users aren't likely to see fluid leaking from theXbox One. However, if you do start to see fluids coming out of the machines, contact Microsoft at 1-800-4my-xbox. Microsoft has yet to comment on the phenomenon.

Microsoft has been very responsive when users have reported bugs and technical problems for the Xbox One. When users reported the disk drive issues for the machine around launch, Microsoft was quick to respond and even sent out replacement Xbox Ones before users had sent in the their broken consoles.

The Xbox One may be behind the PlayStation 4 in sales, but considering both console are still in their launch windows, the console could very well overtake the Sony machine in the near future. After all, both machines have huge amounts of built up demand, so the company that can build and send out the most consoles will most likely be the company with the highest sales between the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
